Is very similar to most other Civil Investigation, however, it goes a step further as the reports required by Insurance Fraud cases have to be more in depth and must be laid out in extensive detailed. Accordingly the Coalition Against Insurance Fraud has laid out a set of guidelines:
- Conservatively, Insurance fraud claims account for approximately $80 billion a year across all lines of insurance. (Coalition Against Insurance Fraud estimate).
- Fraud comprises about 10 percent of property-casualty insurance losses and loss adjustment expenses each year.
- Property-casualty fraud thus equals about $30 billion each year. (Insurance Information Institute, March 2020)
Judicial Investigations provides all these types of investigative services.
